NIAGARA FALLS TO GREATER ROCHESTER
With endpoints in the Niagara Frontier and Greater Rochester regions, the Falls Road Railroad supports a cornucopia of agricultural, perishables, petrochem and plastics customers in historic canal towns from Lockport to Brockport. Our Falls Road train crews provide regular switching of the 3T transload facility in Lockport Yard as well as multiple times per-week service across the entire forty-mile route. Our local economic development partners can fill you in on the endless industrial development possibilities along the Falls Road’s three-county route.
BATAVIA AND BUFFALO/NIAGARA
As GVT Rail’s original operation, the Depew, Lancaster and Western Railroad operates terminal switching operations in Batavia and Lancaster (East Buffalo/Cheektowaga). Be it growing multimodal operations in the Buffalo area or the state-of-the-art Batavia 3T Transload Warehouse, we’ve got corner-of-the-world facilities centrally-located to serve Rochester, Buffalo, the Southern Tier and cross-border to Ontario, Canada.
Interchange locations are centrally-located to our operations in Batavia (CSX Transportation) and Buffalo (Norfolk Southern Corp.). We handle too many products to list here, but have a depth of experience with ag products, plastics, forest products, plus dimensional high-and-wide loads that can’t travel over-the-road.
