Regions of Operation

Northeastern Pennsylvania

The Delaware-Lackawanna Railroad (DL) handles a large variety of commodities including grain, forest products, paper, plastics, petroleum and fuel products, chemicals, aggregates, and much more. In the twenty-five years we’ve operated this publicly-owned asset in Northeastern PA, we’ve grown from 1,700 railcars handled to nearly 10,000 railcars in 2019. Multiple 3T truck-train transload opportunities are available, with close-proximity access to major highways. We’re doing our part to cement the Pocono Mountain region as the premiere gateway to New York City and the Atlantic seaboard.
