Since the June flooding which inflicted 26 washouts on the NYS&W's Utica Branch (former DL&W) south of Sherburne, to below Greene, NY, all the north end of the Utica Branch's freight business and shop locomotives has been coming over from Syracuse on CSXT and then dropped to GVT's Mohawk Adirondack & Northern RR along with the MA&N interchange at the east end of Utica yard at CP 235 on the Chicago Line. The MA&N switches out the NYSW cars and delivers them on Sundays and Wedndays, picking up the NYS&W's outbounds and places them with their own cars on the west end of Utica Yard for pick up by CSXT.
