BATAVIA TRANSLOAD WAREHOUSE
The Batavia Transload Warehouse is an unique way for businesses in Western New York to tap into the cost benefits of being on the international rail network.
At the BTW, rail cars are loaded or unloaded by trained employees, and transferred to or from your waiting tractor trailer. The warehouse features a 280 foot indoor rail siding, 27 foot high ceilings, and 22,000 square feet of floor space for short to medium-term storage. The transload warehouse is owned by GVT and served by GVT trains, meaning prompt service is a top priority.
Our transload warehouse is also a great fit for those with pre-existing rail access who are in need of overflow space or more customized service. We are happy to work with larger railroads to ensure your product or material moves through the network efficiently; an invaluable service for first time rail users.
